Corona Ships

Isolated on steel islands in front of the coast of South-Holland in The Netherlands, some crews are growing tired, bored, and cranky beyond normal. Some haven’t been onshore for 15 months.

This is not only caused by the economic impact of the pandemic, but because of nationalities and strict border controls. Even a ride to the airport for a flight back home often isn’t possible.
